HCLTech is seeking a Senior Application Support Engineer with strong Java/J2EE, Oracle PL/SQL, and Production Support experience to ensure system stability, performance, and high availability for enterprise applications. Key Responsibilities Provide L2/L3 production support for Java‑based applications Perform incident triage, root cause analysis, and issue resolution Monitor application logs, validate deployments, and support on‑call rotations Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve system issues Support API integrations and ensure application performance and stability Maintain documentation and reports using JIRA and Confluence Required Skills 5+ years of experience in J2EE and Spring Boot 5+ years of strong Oracle SQL and PL/SQL 2+ years of experience with Angular , REST , and SOAP APIs Experience with JIRA and Confluence for reporting and documentation 2+ years of experience with Kafka 3+ years of operating systems experience with proficiency in Unix/Linux and shell scripting 4+ years of hands‑on production support experience , including: Incident triage and troubleshooting Root cause analysis (RCA) Log monitoring Deployment verification On‑call support Proven ability to ensure system stability, reliability, and high availability Pay and Benefits Pay Range Minimum: $95000 Pay Range Maximum: $155000 HCLTech is an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees regardless of race, religion, sex, color, age, national origin, pregnancy, sexual orientation, physical disability or genetic information, military or veteran status, or any other protected classification, in accordance with federal, state, and/or local law. Compensation and Benefits A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
