Department 11807 Enterprise Corporate - HTM: Enterprise Asset Disposal Program Status Full time Benefits Eligible Yes Hours Per Week 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information Full time, Days, M-F 8am-4:30pm EST Pay Range $35.50 - $53.25 Major Responsibilities Implements and coordinates Aurora Health Care Asset Investment Recovery (AIR) program, obtaining optimum value through effective redeployment and disposal of materials and assets. Acts as project coordinator on large facility projects when a substantial number of assets are recognized for investment recovery. Assigns, monitors and reviews the efficiency of daily delivery and pickup schedules for Asset Investment Recovery (AIR) staff. Provide guidance to internal partners and external customers on daily activities and is a resource for more complex issues of investment recovery, assuring accuracy and success of the program. Oversees, monitors and supports entire process of the Asset Investment Recovery program. Acts as a resource to staff partners regarding asset retirement and disposal. Contacts and develops effective working relationships with internal partners and external customers in order to gather information, evaluate and coordinate assets within the Asset Investment Recovery program. Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the Asset Investment Recovery Program. Monitors the system policies and procedures for continued effectiveness and recommends changes when needed. Assists in the development and administration of the AFD (Authorization for Disposal) form and database for the Aurora Health Care's Asset Investment Recovery program and scrutinizes the program's progression. Analyzes trade-in, leased, or rental assets within the Asset Investment Recovery process to assure the proper procedure and disposal method is selected that will maximize investment recovery. Manages retirement and disposal process of specialized fixed assets by coordinating the de-installation, removal, and disposal process for facilities within Aurora Health Care. Proactively seeks methods to educate, communicate and champion the Asset Investment Recovery program throughout Aurora Health Care. Trains and educates staff on the benefits and value of the AIR program and how it relates to them and their department. Works in conjunction with Capital Equipment Services, Clinical Engineering, Finance, and Information Services Departments to develop and maintain financial reporting tools, to include but not limited to reports of savings and cost avoidance achieved through the Asset Investment Recovery program efforts. Compiles and submits established reports of program activity to identified departments and facilities that will substantiate cost savings of the program. This will include transfer, sales, trade-in, parts procurement, donation, scrap, cancellation, and courier proficiency reports. Assists in analysis of reports to determine program suitability and best disposal recommendations. Assists in the development of marketing plans, establishment of selling prices and actively seek customer base for surplus sales. Negotiates sales and evaluates bids for assets being sold. Licensure, Registration, And/or Certification Required None Required. Education Required Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field. Experience Required Typically requires 5 years of experience in investment recovery in the health care industry. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required Demonstrates leadership, initiative, commitment, performance improvement, technical competence, communication effectiveness, personal and professional development in compliance with CES policies and procedures, including data integrity and confidentiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and experience with large scale automated systems required. Expertise preparing, importing and manipulating information in spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint presentations. Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to orchestrate several functions and/or resources to accomplish objectives. Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with management, physicians, and other health care staff. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, including public relations and negotiating skills and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management within and outside of the organization. Ability to work effectively and responsible without immediate, direct supervision.<
