Position Overview Our Client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Cabinet Designer with a strong background in cabinet design, bidding, and pricing within residential new construction. This role is responsible for developing accurate cabinet layouts, elevations, and full bid packages by analyzing architectural plans, specifications, and installation requirements. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in 2020 design software and Excel, with the ability to manage multiple projects, create detailed proposals, and support the sales and field teams through the full bidding process. Key Responsibilities Develop complete cabinet bid packages including layouts, elevations, and pricing proposals Review architectural plans and specifications to create accurate and functional cabinet designs Utilize 2020 software to produce cabinet layouts, drawings, parts lists, and hardware counts Create and manage Excel pricing templates using formulas to generate accurate bids Determine labor box counts, material costs, and additional pricing components for proposals Analyze field measurements and layouts to identify potential issues prior to ordering Collaborate with internal teams including sales, processing, and field operations to resolve issues Communicate with home builders to gather information and clarify bid requirements when needed Support multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced production environment Maintain organized documentation and follow internal file structure standards Review contracted pricing schedules to ensure accuracy of option pricing Assist with order placement and coordination based on installation schedules Qualifications High School Diploma required Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred 10+ years of cabinet design and bidding experience in residential new construction required Strong proficiency with 2020 design software required Advanced Excel skills including pricing templates and formulas required Knowledge of cabinet installation methods and construction practices required Experience with Adobe editing tools preferred Strong understanding of cabinet layouts, materials, and installation standards Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Self-motivated and able to work independently
