Senior Cad Designer The Senior Cad Designer plays a critical role in driving innovative and technically sound designs that support the development of new and sustaining products. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional engineering teams to translate concepts into detailed Cad models and drawings, using industry best practices and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and design intent. This individual leads by example in creating intelligent manufacturable designs, mentoring team members, and supporting the global Cad infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a skilled designer, an excellent communicator, and a proactive problem solver who helps shorten development timelines, elevate product quality, and contribute to long-term company growth. Primary Duties And Responsibilities: Collaborate with engineers to design and develop both new and sustaining components and systems, using minimal viable product (Mvp) principles to accelerate innovation and product development. Translate design intent into detailed 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using industry-standard Cad software, with minimal supervision. Support the New Product Development (Npd) process by contributing to fast-paced concept-to-handoff cycles, ensuring design feasibility, manufacturability, and quality. Develop component and system designs aligned with engineering best practices using various materials and manufacturing methods, including stamping, blanking, forming, fine blanking, injection and thermoset molding, die and investment casting, cold forming, extruding, and draw forming. Perform detailed tolerance stack-up analysis and apply Gd&T principles to ensure dimensional accuracy and compliance with functional and manufacturing requirements. Work collaboratively across departments including Testing, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, and Finance to execute design p
