Job Description
Our client is a worldwide law firm. They seek a Senior Collections Analyst to join their Manhattan, NY office. Responsibilities Manage outstanding receivables, follow up with clients regarding past-due balances, and provide general accounts receivable support to internal stakeholders and leadership Review and maintain aging reports on a routine basis Document collection efforts within the financial system, including detailed activity notes and scheduling follow-up actions Circulate account statements to internal stakeholders and customers Meet regularly with revenue leadership to review assigned portfolios and discuss collection strategies Monitor electronic invoicing platforms to track invoice approvals and anticipated payment timelines Prepare client onboarding documentation and supply banking and tax details as required Investigate unidentified payments and coordinate with the cash applications team Collaborate with customers to reconcile and maintain accurate account records Develop billing and payment schedules in coordination with internal teams Participate in year-end cash forecasting discussions Complete additional responsibilities as assigned Requirements Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field 6+ years of collections experience at a law firm Ability to adapt to cyclical periods, peak workloads, new assignments, and work independently to meet deadlines Strong analytical skills, including exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills Must be highly organized Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience with various subscription and client-based e-billing systems Working knowledge with legal billing software database structure (preferably Elite or 3E) Job ID # 47916 Tagged as: Hybrid Remote/Office
