Senior Construction Project Manager in Baltimore MD and Columbus OH The client offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits, employee perks plus a long-term career opportunity as a valued member of the team. The client’s need has an emphasis on experience with hardware technology, advanced manufacturing , construction projects. Essential Responsibilities Manage all facets of multiple, concurrent commercial construction projects from inception through to the completion of construction. Interface with clients and brokers on new project requirements. Assist in the review of Leases and Work Letters as it pertains to construction related items. Day-to-day involvement in directly managing multiple ongoing complex construction projects. Manage up to two internal project managers/project engineers in support of ongoing projects. Develop initial project budgets and schedules for multiple types of projects of different sizes and complexities. Manage project progress against approved budgets, timelines and client directed goals. Assemble, manage and coordinate project teams required to complete projects. This typically includes the entire design team, general contractor, furniture vendor and other client vendors. Managing change order, invoicing, tenant improvement allowance reimbursement and project close-out processes. Actual compensation within the $150,000 - $190,000 range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications. This range includes a base salary only and is not reflective of a total compensation package. Desired Skills and Experience Experience in Complex/Technical projects- Preferred if have Defense Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, Aerospace project experience. Experience with Hardware Technology and Advanced Manufacturing and Maritime/Waterfront construction projects is strongly preferred. Experience leading new construction and tenant improvement projects. Experience with Design-Build projects is strongly preferred. Experience managing people internally and externally. Applicants should be highly proficient in Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Project. Must be a self-starter and possess a strong ability to handle multiple projects at once and meet deadlines. Must be able to manage time effectively and adapt quickly to changing priorities. Able to establish and maintain a strong working relationship with client(s) and internal partners. Qualifications This position involves a combination if remote and onsite work, with expectations of being onsite 2-3 days per week at a minimum. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in the construction industry. We are looking for candidates who have served in Construction Project Manager or Senior Project Manager type roles. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college required, preferably in a related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, polished and a proud representative of the client. Strong Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project proficiency.
