Job Description Job Description Senior Copywriter, Paid Media Company: SimplePractice Location: Santa Monica, CA / Remote Employment Type: Full-time Experience Level: Senior (8+ years) Salary Range: $110,000 — $135,000 USD (Annual Base) Position Overview SimplePractice is seeking a Senior Copywriter, Paid Media who operates at the intersection of high-level brand storytelling and high-velocity social execution. This role involves partnering closely with the Paid Media team and Art Directors to transform complex SaaS product features into human-centric, high-converting video and social content. The ideal candidate is a concept engine with a strong creative POV who can build scalable creative systems. Key Responsibilities Concept at Scale: Generate high volumes of distinct conceptual hooks and scripts, moving rapidly from ideation to execution. Write for the Scroll: Craft platform-native scripts for TikTok, Meta, and YouTube. Own the Set: Provide script direction during video shoots to ensure tone, pacing, and energy align perfectly. Rapid Creative Iteration: Leverage performance data to pitch innovative creative tests. Manage Production Lifecycle: Oversee post-production in partnership with video editors and motion designers. Audit & Iterate: Review creative performance data to identify winners and rapidly script iterative versions. Stay Socially Fluent: Maintain deep understanding of current social trends, audio hooks, and visual formats. Simplify the Complex: Translate technical SaaS features into resonant "a-ha" moments for healthcare clinicians. Required Skills & Experience Experience: 8+ years in performance marketing or creative strategy, heavily focused on paid social and digital video. Platform-Native: Instinctive grasp of visual and verbal languages across fragmented social feeds. Ambiguity & Autonomy: Ability to navigate tight deadlines with minimal supervision and take full ownership of projects. Data-Informed Creativity: View metrics as a spark for ideas rather than a creative ceiling. High-Velocity Output: Thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining high quality in large volumes of script. Collaboration: Experience working in tight Art + Copy + Stakeholder partnerships. Forward-Thinking: Willingness to co-pilot creative ideation with AI tools and test unconventional approaches. Portfolio: Must showcase high-performing social campaigns, video scripts, and conceptual brand work with proven business impact. On-Set Experience: Proven experience on video production sets (directing experience is a major plus).
