Industry Accounting Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel to join its global (re)insurance platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on a wide range of corporate, transactional, and regulatory matters across multiple jurisdictions. This includes but is not limited to, advising on corporate law, M&A, financing, and restructuring transactions, as well as supporting insurance and reinsurance agreements. The role also involves ensuring regulatory and legal compliance, managing external counsel, and overseeing legal input on key business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a background in a top-tier law firm or a strong in-house team, with a focus on corporate and transactional work, and preferably, experience in financial services or (re)insurance. Applicants for the Senior Counsel position at the company should be qualified lawyers with at least 5 years' of post-qualification experience. A background in financial services or (re)insurance is preferred, and the role requires strong stakeholder management and communication skills. The candidate must be able to work cross-functionally and across jurisdictions, and be adept at handling commercial contracts and general business law matters.
