Employer Industry: Defense and Aerospace Why Consider This Job Opportunity Salary up to $165,000 USD Opportunity for career advancement and growth within the organization Supportive and inclusive work environment that values diverse perspectives Commitment to workplace flexibility and employee well-being Engaging role that contributes to the safety and security of the world Chance to work with cutting-edge technology in satellite communications What To Expect (Job Responsibilities) Lead cybersecurity efforts for commercial narrowband SATCOM environments, including satellite communications links and ground systems Develop and maintain cybersecurity requirements and control implementations for secure voice, data, and command-and-control services Perform risk assessments and security control validation using the NIST Cybersecurity Framework Monitor cybersecurity posture and conduct vulnerability identification and remediation tracking Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate cybersecurity early in the lifecycle of systems What Is Required (Qualifications) Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may be substituted Secret Clearance Required Minimum of 8 years of relevant cybersecurity experience in federal, aerospace, SATCOM, or mission-critical communications environments Demonstrated experience with RMF, eMASS, A&A documentation, and vulnerability management Strong written and verbal communication skills to translate technical risk into mission impacts How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Experience with narrowband MILSATCOM, commercial SATCOM, or tactical communications Background in incident response or cyber defense for operational technology or contested communications environments Certification such as Security+, CISSP, or other DoD 8140/8570-aligned credential #Defense #Aerospace #Cybersecurity #CareerOpportunity #CuttingEdgeTechnology #CyberFocusAI
