The architect will establish the enterprise data model, define standards for data storage (e.g., data lakes, warehouses, databases), and design the architecture for data ingestion, processing pipelines (ETL/ELT), and data access. They will work closely with the GRC and security teams to ensure data governance, data quality, and data protection policies are designed into the architecture from the start. The Data Architect's primary goal is to ensure that the data is findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR), enabling advanced analytics and AI/ML at scale.
