Job Description
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer in the St. Petersburg, FL area. This role will focus on the design and delivery of electrical systems for a variety of commercial and residential projects, with an emphasis on multi-family high-rise developments. This is a highly visible, client-facing role ideal for professionals who are confident communicators, technically strong, and interested in mentoring and leading others. Key Responsibilities Design electrical systems for multi-family, commercial, and mixed-use projects Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, ensuring professional communication and relationship management Lead project coordination from concept through construction documentation Utilize Revit for design, modeling, and documentation Collaborate with internal teams, architects, and external stakeholders Review and ensure accuracy of plans, specifications, and calculations Mentor and support junior staff; delegate tasks and oversee deliverables Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise Qualifications Mid-Level Electrical Engineer 5–7 years of experience in electrical design At least 3–4 years working on multi-family or similar building types (e.g., apartments, hotels, condos, student housing) Additional experience in commercial projects such as offices, restaurants, schools, or healthcare facilities is acceptable Required Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) License required Proficiency in Revit Experience designing building systems comparable to firm’s project portfolio Strong client-facing communication skills and professional presence Leadership ability, including mentoring and delegation
