Description: Hybrid Onsite 5 days/week, alternating weeks in Smithfield, RI Our client seeks a Senior Email Campaign Engineer to design, code, and deploy personalized email communications at scale using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. The role requires expertise in email channel marketing, AMPScript, and HTML, with strong project management to deliver scheduled, triggered, and journey-based campaigns. You will collaborate across marketing and technology teams to onboard programs, optimize processes, and serve as a subject matter expert on channel best practices and platform capabilities. Your work will deepen customer relationships and improve operational efficiency for email programs. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Rate: $35.00 to $45.00/hr. w2 Responsibilities: Plan and execute email campaigns from strategy and requirements through deployment, including scheduled sends, automated triggers, Journey Builder, and automated multi-touch campaigns. Build and edit email code and logic using Salesforce Marketing Cloud Content Builder and AMPScript tools. Collaborate with technology teams to onboard new email programs and content to Salesforce Marketing Cloud, acting as the voice of the business. Lead and support cross-functional projects as a subject matter expert for the email channel, including template specifications, technical design, channel best practices, executional processes, data feed analysis, and platform capabilities. Track, triage, and resolve issues in real time to ensure accurate and timely campaign execution. Continuously develop and improve processes and infrastructure within a dynamic team environment. Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to enable team members to meet or exceed expectations. Experience Requirements: Expertise in email channel marketing. Significant experience in one or more areas: digital execution, marketing technology, or digital marketing. Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Content Builder and AMPScript. Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Adobe Target, Simon Data, or Segment CDP (preferred). Basic front-end HTML skills required; basic SQL skills (preferred). Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word. Demonstrated project management, time management, and organization skills with the ability to prioritize multiple complex initiatives and mitigate risks. Ability to lead and collaborate across cross-functional teams and influence without authority in a matrixed environment. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented, process-focused, and methodical thinker with a customer-first mentality. Entrepreneurial and agile mindset with a bias toward action.
