Job Description
The SRA Specialist will serve as a primary resource for job-related training and guidance, and to support cross-functional teams with tasks and training related to integrated products, enrollment, and retention initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to train/teach product, process and policy information at the onset of the hiring process as well as on a continuous basis. Being proficient in their ability to communicate with impact, apply critical thinking and possess leadership skills. The SRA Specialist will act as a role model and provide continuous coaching and feedback to the team. They will also assist and work closely with the Quality Performance team to monitor the quality of applications submitted, to track enrollment performance behaviors, to identify areas of improvement, and to recommend the proper management and other staff. This role will develop and identify talent for project work. Duties & Responsibilities Interprets product, procedural and regulatory information, and assists with the development of training curricula to provide field staff with available services. Administers new hire training and refresher training to the Senior Retention Advocates and Retention Coordinators. Participates in the development, implementation and updates provided by Healthfirst to ensure departmental compliance. Provides expertise and customer service support to the teams and consumers. Conducts observational field visits and provides guidance and support to the teams. Aids in increasing individual and team effectiveness by creating and distributing training resources, learning aids and processing documentation to learners. Prepares and maintains reports/records on training program attendance and programs offered. Participates in training related projects as scheduled or otherwise directed by the Director of Training and is expected to provide feedback and input for all projects. Ensures all assignments are completed with quality and accuracy. Conducts home visits when needed Serves as the subject matter expert in all services offered. Services as a liaison between Local Department of Social Services, New York Medicaid Choice and internal department. Assists in the scheduling of staff for trainings. Additional duties as necessary and as directed Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution Ability to manage multiple systems Ability to collaborate with external and internal stakeholders and support teams for cross-referral and joint promotions Ability to travel throughout the 5 boroughs, Westchester, Orange, Sullivan, Rockland, and Nassau County Ability to work the majority of the time outside of HF offices with little direct supervision Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills Good organizational skills Excellent listening, as well as written and oral communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and professional attitude. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution Proficiency in navigating the Internet and multi-tasking with multiple software/electronic documentation systems simultaneously Ability to be independent in making sound decisions and proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements Aptitude for using a fast-paced proactive vs. reactive approach, maneuvering multiple tasks simultaneously including seamlessly changing priorities Establish credibility and trust along with positive and affable working relationships with internal and external clients Compliance & Regulatory Responsibilities : Noted above License/Certification : N/A Hiring Range*: Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $58,900 - $80,070 All Other Locations (within approved locations): $51,000 - $74,880 As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
