Midas - Senior Finance Analyst Position Summary The Senior Finance Analyst supports the full spectrum of corporate finance activities across our international operations. It ensures accurate financial reporting, disciplined budgeting, and strong operational controls while serving as a reliable partner who delivers exceptional service to internal teams and business leaders. The role also provides data‑driven insights that strengthen financial performance and inform both near‑term operational decisions and long‑range strategic planning. The position contributes to all core finance functions, including budgeting and forecasting, travel expense analysis, real estate accounting, and balance sheet reconciliations. It applies analytical rigor to evaluate financial trends, validate results, identify risks and opportunities, and support cross‑functional initiatives that enhance efficiency and cost effectiveness. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail‑oriented, and solutions‑focused, with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Real Estate Finance & Accounting Oversee monthly recurring rent processing, including validation of charges, updates to rent schedules, and coordination with Lease Administration and Accounting teams. Manage monthly rent runs and ensure accurate and timely posting of all real estate‑related expenses. Perform real estate tax true‑ups, percentage rent calculations, and related reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with lease terms. Maintain real estate accounting schedules, supporting documentation, and balance sheet reconciliations for all real estate‑related accounts. Review lease‑related financial data for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with contractual obligations. Partner with Real Estate and Legal teams to resolve discrepancies, clarify lease terms, and support portfolio‑related decision‑making. Corporate Finance & Reporting Support the creation of the monthly Ops Deck, including preparation of financial exhibits, KPIs, and narrative insights. Update the weekly forecast and prepare weekly reporting for executive leadership. Assist in the development of the annual budget, including compiling franchise budgets and preparing materials for Board review. Partner with Accounting to support the monthly close process for franchise operations, ensuring timely and accurate P&L reporting. Prepare monthly financial narratives, variance explanations, and performance insights for leadership and cross‑functional partners. Incentive Programs & Payroll Support Compile and maintain monthly accruals for Business Development incentive payments and coordinate setup for payroll processing. Manage field incentive payment calculations, including scoring, payout levels, and validation of variable incentive components. Ensure data integrity across all incentive programs, identifying and correcting errors proactively. Analysis, Process Improvement & Ad Hoc Support Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support operational decisions, strategic initiatives, and follow‑up items from prior month close. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve reporting accuracy, and enhance financial controls. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support new initiatives, business cases, and financial modeling needs. Maintain high standards of data accuracy, documentation quality, and analytical rigor across all responsibilities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA) is a plus. 3–5+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, FP&A, accounting, or related analytical roles. Experience with real estate accounting, lease‑related financial processes, or rent‑based reconciliations is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and month‑end close processes. Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, data modeling, and large‑dataset analysis; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus. Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP and M365 Dynamics) and financial reporting tools; ability to learn new systems quickly.
