Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A 📍 Skokie, IL | Hybrid A privately held real estate investment firm specializing in a large national portfolio of residential communities is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join its finance team. This is a high-impact, analytical role for someone who enjoys working with complex financial data, building models, and helping leadership make better strategic and operational decisions. What You'll Do: Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to generate robust financial and operating metrics Develop, maintain, and optimize detailed financial models including budget templates and variance analysis Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic planning, investment decisions, and operational improvements — including defeasance, land development, and hold/sell analyses Create quarterly reporting materials ensuring clarity, accuracy, and actionable insights Track debt financing terms and performance across the portfolio Support KPI development and dashboard reporting for senior leadership Participate in ad hoc projects with a proactive, big-picture mindset Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar field; MBA or MA preferred 3-10 years of experience Previous real estate experience is required Proficient at financial modeling; fluent with Excel, sensitivity analysis, and pivot tables Why This Role Stands Out: ✅ High-visibility seat working directly with senior leadership ✅ Broad analytical scope across finance, operations, and investments ✅ Real estate platform with a growing national footprint ✅ Collaborative team that values critical thinking and ownership ✅ Hybrid flexibility based in Skokie, IL
