Job Description
Thompson Gray is seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic to support the United States Army Financial Management Command. The position requires at least 10 years of experience in financial operations, training, reporting, testing, and help desk experience in Army reimbursable operations and the General Fund Business Enterprise System (GFEBS). Successful candidates will have excellent communication, quantitative, research, and analytical skills in addition to the following skills and experience. Worksite details: This position is onsite/hybrid; part-time to full-time (32 hours) Job Duties Lead end-to-end spending chain and reimbursable (SD) functions within GFEBS ensuring compliance with Army regulations and operational needs Perform analysis, evaluation, and oversight of all aspects of the functionality within GFEBS related to reimbursable operations Monitor Service Now tickets and provide responses to GFEBS end-users Perform help desk functions by troubleshooting GFEBS problem areas to find solutions and liaise with commands as the GFEBS subject matter expert Generate Business Objects (BOBJ) reports to create and present metrics to DoW and DFAS senior leadership Create and update standard operating procedures, training documents/curriculum, checklists, job-aids, and hands-on exercises. Train users on the individual/group levels and stakeholders on auditable processes. Provide advice and recommendations to support requirements analysis, design assessments, change management, testing, training, deployment, and compliance of GFEBS and modernization systems Minimum Qualifications Must be a US citizen and have a SECRET clearance Must have a minimum of 10 + years in financial management, DoD reimbursement processes, ERP life cycles, and DoD experience Solid understanding of DoD end-to-end Order to Cash processes Excellent communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Power BI Preferred: Experience with G-invoicing Why join Thompson Gray?
