Job Description Summary A real estate investment and development firm is seeking a Senior Associate, Fund Accountant to support the accounting and reporting activities for its development and operating funds. This role is responsible for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, financial reporting, GAAP compliance, and investor-level reporting. The position will also serve as a key liaison between fund administration, auditors, and internal teams including acquisitions, capital markets, and fund management. Responsibilities Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and audit-ready support for all transactions Prepare and maintain capital call and allocation schedules Assist with preparation and first-level review of financial statements and reporting packages Conduct variance analysis, roll-forwards, and lender/investor reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance with governing agreements Collaborate with property and development accounting teams to validate equity balances and track construction draws and distributions Assist in the preparation and distribution of quarterly and annual reporting packages for lenders, investors, and internal stakeholders Monitor cash needs and support forecasting based on upcoming transactions and portfolio activity Participate in acquisition and investment processes in coordination with acquisitions, capital markets, and fund management teams Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, procedures, and applicable reporting standards Respond to audit and investor inquiries related to financial reporting packages Act as liaison with fund administrators to support reporting issuance and capital call/distribution notices Reconcile investor capital accounts and respond to related inquiries Support continuous improveme
