Since 2020, dWELL has been an affirming recovery housing program on a mission to support young adults in their transition to independence through residences and a community-based approach that supports growth and healing. We provide a personalized, foundational, skills-based model that helps young adults pursue their individual life goals. We are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented, and innovative Senior House Manager of Programming to join our New York City team and contribute to our goal of making a difference. Position Summary: The Senior House Manager of Programming plays an active, resident-facing role in creating structure, engagement, and community within dWELL’s recovery housing program. This position supports residents through direct case management, daily interactions, home visits, programming facilitation, and community-based activities that promote recovery, independence, life-skills development, and meaningful participation. In addition to direct resident support, this role designs, implements, and evaluates structured recreational, educational, and skill-building programs that are responsive to the needs of the resident population and support residents’ developmental, therapeutic, and life-skills goals. The position focuses on fostering a dynamic environment through recreational, educational, and skill-building activities that enhance overall quality of life. What You Will Do: Actively engage with residents in the house and community to promote connection, participation, accountability, and independent living skills Facilitate and co-facilitate resident programming, including life-skills workshops, community meetings, meals, outings, recreational activities, and other structured engagement opportunities Create structure and consistency within the residential community by supporting daily routines, scheduled programming, and resident participation Provide direct resident-facing support through home visits, parent calls, case management check-ins, community engagement, and crisis support as needed Serve as a primary case management contact for a caseload of approximately 5 to 7 residents Support residents in working toward individualized developmental, therapeutic, recovery, and life-skills goals Help plan, coordinate, and maintain programming schedules for activities, workshops, groups, outings, and community events Partner with House Managers to ensure programming is delivered consistently and residents are encouraged to participate meaningfully Monitor resident participation and engagement, using feedback and observation to strengthen programming and resident support Support medication adherence by ensuring residents are taking medications as prescribed, assisting with refill coordination, and overseeing weekly pill organization Provide oversight to House Managers to ensure medication-related responsibilities are completed consistently and appropriately Assist with crisis intervention and provide resident support during urgent situations as needed Participate in monthly leadership on-call rotation, providing emergency support onsite and by phone to staff as needed Supervise House Managers, including providing guidance, performance management, coaching, and professional development support Attend treatment team meetings regularly Co-facilitate Transitional Living Program staff meetings Participate in dWELL Senior Leadership meetings Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support resident care, program operations, and the overall needs of the dWELL community What You Need to Qualify: Bachelor's (required) MA/MS (preferred) - Either or both in social science field Ideal candidate has at least 3 years related experience with Substance Use Disorders and 12-Step Recovery Model Ideal candidate has at least 3 years of related experience in adolescent or young adult treatment center Ideal candidate has at least 3 years experience of experience in Mental Health Facility, Program Management; Crisis Management Must have strong supervisory or managerial experience, with a proven ability to lead and develop a team Strong understanding of recovery principles, trauma-informed care, motivational approaches, and crisis intervention. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail. Ability to maintain professionalism, boundaries, and composure in a fast-paced environment. CPR Certification (Preferred) Schedule: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays 11am-7pm, Thursdays 8-4pm, and Fridays 10am-6pm. Availability to
