Senior Human Resources Generalist

Meet the company: Our long-time client is seeking a compliance-driven Senior HR Generalist to join their team. This is a great opportunity to join a fun, well-established group located in San Francisco's Mission Bay. This is an in-office (4-5 / week in office). Free parking for those that drive. About the role and your impact: HR Policies and Compliance Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and company policies including on matters related to worker’s compensation, wage and hour, and quarterly reporting Stay up-to-date on labor laws, compliance requirements, and industry trends Ensure HR practices align with legal standards and make research- and data-driven recommendations for HR improvements Maintain HR data and generate reports for analysis Employee Relations and Engagement Provide guidance and resolution regarding employee relations issues using a direct, friendly approach Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding Ensure employees’ completion of required trainings Support the performance appraisal process Assist with recruiting efforts as needed Payroll Support Collaborate with payroll administrator and provide backup as needed Ensure employee information is accurately recorded in ADP Understand commission structure and calculation Additional duties as assigned What you’ll bring: 5+ years of human resources experience HR certification (SHRM/PHR) required Strong understanding of HR compliance Prior payroll experience or understanding of payroll processes Proficiency with MS Office (including Excel)
