Senior HVAC Technician / Lead Tech (Austin) Company: Aire Serv of Austin Location: South Austin, TX Job Type: Full-Time This is not a typical HVAC job. We're looking for a senior technician who genuinely loves taking care of people — someone who understands that great service is just as important as great technical work. We want someone who takes pride in doing the job right, communicates clearly with customers, and leaves every home or facility better than they found it. Role Overview You will start as the primary (and initially only) field technician , responsible for: Running service calls (diagnostics, repairs, maintenance) Delivering high-quality customer experience Identifying system replacement opportunities Maintaining clean, professional job execution As we grow, you will transition into: Lead Technician / Field Leader Training and mentoring new technicians Setting quality and performance standards Helping build and scale the service department Compensation $36–$40/hour (based on experience) Overtime available Performance bonuses and incentives Realistic Total Compensation: $90,000 – $110,000+ per year (base + incentives) Bonus Structure (Performance-Based) Monthly performance bonuses (revenue, quality, reviews) Replacement lead incentives Install quality / zero-callback bonuses Training bonuses as team grows What You Get Company vehicle + fuel card Company phone / tablet Paid training (technical + leadership) PTO Health benefits Tool support / allowance Why This Role Is Different: You won’t be just another tech in a big company.
