Here at Sophea Interior Designs, we are a fast-paced interior design firm specializing in spec homes and new construction. All of our work produced in-house is focused on interior architecture, custom cabinetry, and much more. This full-time position offers hands-on experience in the world of interior design, unlike anything you would expect. You will be an active participant in site/client meetings, drafting, design decisions, working with vendors, etc. We are looking for a motivated, dependable, hard-working designer to excel, contribute to our growth, and provided outstanding service to our clients. Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture with an advanced understanding of U.S. codes and standards. Proficient in reading and drafting architectural plans, elevations, sections, structural plans, engineering plans, and window/door schedules. Must have a personal computer. Speciality in furniture (bonus) MUST be within reasonable commute to the office in Encino. This is NOT a remote position. Expert in drafting: Floor plans Reflected Ceiling Plans Electrical Plans Plumbing Plans Exterior elevations Cabinetry/millwork MUST be an expert with the following software programs: Revit 3D AutoCad Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Indesign, etc. Have proficient experience using the following platforms: G-Suite applications (Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.) Canva Programa PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT MEET THE ABOVE REQUIREMENTS *Must have reliable transportation.
