Senior Interior Designer / Project Lead Location: Miami, FL About the Role An award-winning, design-led interior architecture studio is seeking a Senior Interior Designer / Project Lead to join its Miami team. The studio specialises in luxury residential and hospitality environments , delivering highly curated, globally influenced spaces that reflect each client’s lifestyle and context. This is a senior-level position for a client-facing designer with strong business development capabilities , particularly within the high-end residential sector . You will play a key role in both winning new work and leading projects from concept through delivery . Key Responsibilities Business Development & Client Leadership Actively identify, pursue, and secure new high-end residential opportunities Build and maintain relationships with private clients, developers, brokers, and industry partners Lead client presentations, pitches, and proposal development Contribute to the studio’s growth strategy within the Miami and wider US luxury market Design Leadership Lead the design and delivery of luxury residential projects from concept through installation Develop strong design narratives rooted in context, lifestyle, and architectural influence Oversee FF&E selection, material palettes, and bespoke detailing Ensure design excellence and consistency across all project stages Project Management Manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously Coordinate with consultants, architects, and contractors Oversee budgets, schedules, and resourcing Mentor and guide junior designers Client Experience Build long-term client relationships through a highly personalised design approach Translate client vision into refined, high-quality design solutions Deliver exceptional service and attention to detail throughout the project lifecycle Requirements 8–12+ years’ experience in interior design , with a focus on luxury residential projects Proven track record in business development / client generation Strong portfolio demonstrating high-end, detail-driven residential work Experience leading projects end-to-end (concept to completion) Excellent client-facing, presentation, and communication skills Strong understanding of materials, FF&E, and bespoke design processes Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite) Ability to operate in a fast-paced, design-led studio environment
