Final compensation will be determined based on experience. The Senior IT Epic Implementation Project Manager leads end-to-end Epic software implementations for new and transitioning clients, serving as the primary delivery owner for complex, multi-module Epic deployments. This role commands both the technical rigor of Epic implementations and the executive presence required to navigate large, cross-functional client environments. This role is focused on Epic implementation delivery and owns the Epic workstream within broader client integration programs. It partners closely with Epic Services, Readiness, Technology, Operations, Partnership Success, and Enterprise Project Management (EPM) at Ensemble, as well as leadership from both the Client and from Epic to ensure implementations are delivered with rigor and predictability at scale. A core accountability is ensuring the Ensemble Epic Standard Operating Model (SOM) is fully implemented and validated prior to transition to optimization and support. This position requires specialized Epic & RCM knowledge, comfort managing executive-level client relationships, and the ability to drive delivery across highly matrixed, fast-moving environments. Key Responsibilities: Lead full lifecycle Epic implementations from initiation through go-live and post-live stabilization, managing implementations of significant scope (multi-module, multi-site, or concurrent deployments). Serve as the primary implementation delivery owner and accountable point of contact for client-facing project execution, partnering closely with Epic Services Readiness and Technical resources. Develop and manage detailed project plans encompassing Epic build, application, integrated, and charge testing, user acceptance testing, data conversion, end-user training, cutover planning, and go-live execution. Manage client expectations and delivery commitments across executive, operational, and technical stakeholder audiences. SOM Implementation & Readiness: Ensure all Epic implementations align to and fully satisfy Epic Standard Operating Model (SOM) requirements. Own formal SOM completeness validation as a defined exit criterion from implementation to optimization and support. Identify and drive resolution of SOM gaps in partnership with Product and Operations teams prior to transition. Cross-Functional & Executive Coordination: Coordinate delivery across Epic Services, Technology, Readiness, Operations, and Product teams, operating effectively in complex matrixed environments. Partner with Partnership Success to align client communication strategies, manage escalations, and protect client relationships during critical delivery phases. Facilitate executive-level steering committee meetings and present implementation status, risks, and milestone updates to senior leadership. Risk, Issue & Change Management: Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and scope changes across the full implementation lifecycle.
