Senior Legal Counsel

A company is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to support its community development lending activities. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate loan documents and manage legal due diligence Support post-closing legal matters and borrower compliance across the loan portfolio Assist in the execution of loan participations and coordinate with internal teams for compliance Required Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing Minimum of 6-10 years of legal experience in commercial real estate finance or community development lending Demonstrated experience supporting real estate lending transactions through closing Strong working knowledge of loan documentation, secured transactions, and multi-party deal structures Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment
