Our current client base includes two AmLaw firms, a strong roster of boutique and mid-market firms, and corporate legal departments. We are hiring a Senior Legal Recruiter to build and own a full-cycle desk and grow alongside the firm. This is a senior, revenue-generating role with meaningful equity participation and a clear long-term path into firm leadership for the right candidate. We partner with AmLaw firms, boutique and mid-market firms, and in-house legal teams on strategic attorney placements, combining a high-touch recruiting approach with a strong commercial focus. We are building a performance-driven, entrepreneurial recruiting platform where senior recruiters have real ownership, direct access to leadership, and a meaningful stake in the firm’s growth. WHAT YOU WILL DO CLIENT DEVELOPMENT ▪️ Identify, pitch, and sign new law firm and corporate legal clients across the U.S. ▪️ Run targeted outbound business development: outreach, partner-level relationship building, and lateral market tracking ▪️ Build a pipeline of contingent, exclusive, and retained mandates ▪️ Negotiate fee agreements directly with hiring partners, recruiting managers, and General Counsel FULL-CYCLE DELIVERY ▪️ Manage every search end-to-end: intake, sourcing, screening, submittals, interview preparation, offer negotiation, and post-placement follow-through ▪️ Place attorneys across associate, counsel, and partner levels ▪️ Maintain rigorous pipeline management and long-term candidate relationships STRATEGIC CONTRIBUTION ▪️ Help shape how the desk and the firm grow ▪️ Contribute market intelligence, pricing strategy, and strategic direction ▪️ Mentor junior team members as the team scales ▪️ Earn the path to lead the U.S. legal recruiting vertical WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR ▪️ A senior or mid-senior agency-side legal recruiter ready to own a desk ▪️ A professional with portable client relationships and a track record of winning new business ▪️ A builder who values meaningful equity and a path to leadership ▪️ A self-directed operator who thrives with autonomy REQUIREMENTS ▪️ 3+ years of agency-side legal recruitment experience (required) ▪️ Documented track record of winning new clients ▪️ Verifiable placement history at law firms and/or corporate legal departments ▪️ Active U.S. legal recruitment network ▪️ Comfort with outbound business development ▪️ Working knowledge of BigLaw and mid-market practice areas, lateral economics, and the Cravath scale ▪️ Excellent written and verbal communication ▪️ U.S. work authorization This role is a fit for experienced agency-side legal recruiters. We are not currently considering candidates from in-house talent acquisition, generalist staffing, or contract/temporary legal staffing backgrounds.
