This property is destined to become an illustrious destination in the Central Business District, nearby the city's renowned and historic French Quarter. Job Description As a Senior Leisure Sales Manager, you will be responsible for all direct revenues for business travel, consortia, wholesale and entertainment segments. Sells hotel guestrooms through direct client contact with assigned market segments to meet or exceed established total company annual revenues and profit goals. This is a leadership position focused on client retention and new account development. This role reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing. Establish a client base of accounts within assigned market segments through direct outside and inside sales activities for the purpose of securing business for the chain to ensure that predetermined annual sales expectations are met or exceeded Collaborate with team members to ensure that competitive information and market developments are communicated on a timely manner Develop and maintain relationships with key clients in order to totally penetrate accounts to secure transient business Negotiate guest room rates, and hotel services within approved booking guidelines. Confirms in writing to the client all requirements via sales contract
