Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Manager, HR Technology & Operations to play a pivotal role in shaping and scaling the infrastructure that supports the employee lifecycle. This individual will act as a bridge between HR systems and operational execution, bringing deep expertise in Workday and HR data to drive efficiency and accuracy across processes. The role requires a leader who has evolved from hands-on HRIS work into a more strategic, functionally focused operations capacity. You will oversee a team while also influencing how systems, workflows, and data practices evolve to meet organizational needs. This is a highly visible opportunity for someone who thrives in complex environments and enjoys building sustainable, scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a team responsible for day-to-day HR operations, ensuring consistent execution and strong service delivery across the employee lifecycle Design, refine, and implement scalable processes that improve efficiency, data quality, and overall operational performance Act as a key partner to cross-functional teams including HR technology, payroll, finance, and talent functions to ensure seamless coordination across systems and workflows Identify gaps in current processes and drive enhancements that strengthen controls, reduce risk, and support audit readiness Translate business needs into system-related solutions, supporting configuration, testing, and rollout of enhancements within HR platforms (including Workday) Champion continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging automation and technology to modernize HR service delivery Provide guidance on data governance, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with applicable regulations Qualifications 5–10 years of experience in HR operations with a strong foundation in HR systems and employee data management Prior hands-on experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into practical applications Demonstrated progression from technical HRIS responsibilities into a broader operational or strategic HR role Proven ability to lead and mentor teams in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel capabilities and comfort working with large datasets Experience driving process improvements, system enhancements, or transformation initiatives within HR functions Solid understanding of data privacy standards and the importance of maintaining confidentiality and compliance Effective communicator who can simplify complex system concepts for non-technical stakeholders
