Job Description
Our Communications and Media Relations team is essential for shaping the Firm’s public image and managing its interactions with the media. Our team crafts and disseminates press releases, media statements and other communications to highlight the Firm’s achievements, legal victories and superb insights. We build and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets to secure positive coverage and handle media inquiries with professionalism and accuracy. The team also oversees internal communications, ensuring that employees are informed about key initiatives and developments. Additionally, we manage the Firm’s social media presence, create engaging content and monitor public perception to proactively address any potential issues. Through strategic communication efforts, our team ensures that the Firm’s reputation remains strong and its messaging consistent across all platforms. The Senior Manager, Marketing is a vital contributor, offering operational and tactical support to achieve Marketing objectives. This role works closely with brand and marketing leadership to ensure the smooth execution of marketing strategy across various industry channels. Recognised as an expert in the field, the Senior Manager provides in-depth advice and innovative solutions leveraging extensive analysis that drives marketing operations, and supports business leaders in making strategic decisions. The Roles And Responsibilities Of This Job Include Provides tactical and operational support, working closely with leadership to facilitate the delivery of strategic marketing objectives Informs strategy development in marketing strategies through application of deep subject matter expertise such as brand management strategy and industry events Collaborates cross-functionally to understand and address marketing needs across the business, leveraging industry expertise and insights to develop solutions that enhance brand visibility and customer engagement Works as part of a team to manage marketing-related projects and campaigns from concept to delivery, ensuring that expectations in terms of quality, goal satisfaction, and budget are met or exceeded Applies complex judgment to marketing trends within the legal industry, advising leadership on potential implications and strategic responses Supports the development and monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, using data to inform future strategies and campaigns Contributes to development and implementation of policies, processes and initiatives related to marketing and branding, providing expert advice and guidance based on comprehensive knowledge of the marketing discipline Ensures compliance with the Firm's brand, quality standards, guidelines and procedures as well as external regulation and legislation within all marketing activities Managers at this level will lead one or more teams of Managers and professionals. Individual contributors at this level will often lead or guide the development of new products/ideas within the discipline, and will allocate and coordinate work to team members within a project. Experience in actively supporting operational delivery within the Function/Sub-Function and closely collaborating with leadership. Subject matter expertise to support decision - making at a Sub-Functional level. Recognised as technical expert in their field May lead projects of moderate scale within a Function/Sub-Function or team across regional and global offices. Ability to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies, contributing to the Function/Sub-Function's performance and effectiveness. Commercial awareness and business acumen Strong analytical and problem - solving skills, with the ability to apply complex judgment and provide innovative solutions. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders at various levels of the Firm. Bachelors degree or equivalent through experience/relevant certifications where appropriate to the discipline.
