First Baptist Church of Monroeville – Monroeville, PA First Baptist Church of Monroeville is seeking a full-time Senior Pastor to lead a biblically grounded congregation of approximately 50 weekly attendees. This role centers on expository preaching, pastoral care, and active leadership within the life of the church. We are a financially stable, fellowship-driven church with strong lay leadership and administrative support. Position Overview The Senior Pastor will: Preach and teach God’s Word faithfully each Sunday Provide pastoral care (visitation, counseling, hospital and home visits) Lead or teach a weekly Bible study (preferred) Work cooperatively with deacons and church leadership Be actively involved in the life of the congregation Officiate weddings, funerals, and special services as needed Qualifications Meets biblical qualifications outlined in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1 Commitment to biblical authority and sound doctrine Experience in pastoral ministry preferred Strong communication and relational skills Theological training (degree or equivalent ministry experience) About Our Church Average Sunday attendance: ~50 Primarily ages 55+, with several young families Blend of traditional hymns and select contemporary worship Active Sunday School ministry Monthly community Diaper Ministry outreach Livestreamed services Financially stable with consistent giving Dedicated office manager and supportive deacons Compensation & Details Full-time position Salary: $55,000 - 80,000 Benefits: Relocation assistance: Negotiable depending on the circumstances To apply, please submit: Résumé Statement of faith Links to recent sermon recordings Applications and inquiries may be sent to: randybgray@verizon.net Search Committee Chair
