It addresses the challenges of managing patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and billing processes to ensure smooth administrative operations and patient service delivery. 2. About the Opportunity: The Senior Patient Access Services Representative plays a key role in supporting patient access by handling complex registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and billing tasks. This position ensures accurate patient data management and insurance authorization, contributing to efficient service delivery and financial processes. The role also includes mentoring or training other representatives, enhancing team performance and maintaining quality standards. 3. Responsibilities: • Perform admissions, registration, and scheduling activities Obtain and enter necessary demographic and insurance information, including for Medicare/Medicaid patients Verify patient insurance coverage and secure required authorizations Document authorization approvals and denials in computer systems Financially screen self-pay patients to establish payment methods Inform and counsel patients or representatives about financial assistance options Collect payments due at time of service Handle billing, receivables, and related functions as needed Follow up on open self-pay accounts and monthly payment plans Assist and train new employees as directed Perform related duties as required Requirements: • High School Diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of relevant experience Pay Range and Compensation Package: • The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
