Your future role at a glance: Location: Nashville, TN Facility: Saint Thomas Midtown Specialty: Phlebotomy Schedule: Rotating shift l PRN How you'll make an impact in this role: Lead the delivery of compassionate, evidence-based nursing care, ensuring every intervention aligns with the highest safety standards and organizational protocols. Monitor and communicate real-time patient status to the care team, enabling swift, life-saving clinical decisions. Coordinate care efforts across multiple specialties, acting as the central hub between hospitalists, cardiologists, and NPs to provide a seamless, high-quality patient experience. Execute advanced clinical skills, including cardiac drip titration and ACLS protocols, to provide expert-level support for our most high-acuity patients. Manage the full discharge process, ensuring patients and families transition from the unit with clarity and confidence. What minimum qualifications you'll need: Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Certification specializing in Phlebotomy credentialed from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC) preferred. Phlebotomy Tech preferred. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
