We are seeking a hands-on Senior Plant Manager to lead two food manufacturing facilities in Northern New England. Job Responsibilities: Lead and oversee operations across two facilities, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and production goals. Maintain a highly visible, hands-on leadership presence on the production floor Develop and manage multi-site budgets, capital planning, and cost reduction initiatives Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on productivity, waste reduction, and operational efficiency Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards, including FDA, FSMA, GMP, HACCP, OSHA, and environmental requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and HR to achieve business objectives Lead, coach, and develop direct reports, fostering a high-performing, results-driven culture Promote effective communication and collaboration across multiple sites Champion a safe, compliant, and positive work environment Required Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred 7+ years of experience in a fast paced/high volume Food and Beverage manufacturing environment Experience managing 24/7 manufacturing operations Proven leadership experience in manufacturing across multiple sites or large-scale operations Strong background in budgeting, planning, and cost management Demonstrated experience overseeing processing, packaging, and transportation operations In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems Must be within driving distance of Portland, ME or Southern NH. Relocation may be considered for candidates with strong ties to the area.
