Security Clearance Type: None/Not Required Security Clearance Status: Not Required The Computing Solutions department (CSD) within Displays, Computing and Networking (DCN) has an opening for a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer. CSD is responsible for the development and of new computing platforms that will serve as the basis for our next generation avionics products. Our platforms employ the following technologies and interfaces; Airborne Electronic Hardware including FPGAs, ASICs and MPSoCs. Avionics and processor interfaces including ARINC 429, Ethernet, AFDX, PCIe, CAN, RS-232, DDR, I2C, SPI. What You Will Do: Responsibilities will include circuit card and sub-level module development, product certification, product transition, and product sustainment over the life cycle of the design. Responsible for design team technical execution and meeting stakeholder requirements Responsible for communication with our internal and external customers and coordination with the domain architects for the execution Responsible for executing solutions with a product line focus and striving to generate reuse and reapplication of the product line artifact lifecycle data. This position will provide an opportunity for hardware architect responsibilities as the product line customer base expands.
