Location: Boston, MA Type: Perm (Contingency) Job #48879 Salary: $100,000-110,000 Job Overview – Senior Procurement Associate Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Procurement Associate to support the sourcing and management of indirect spend categories across our company. This role will play a key part in optimizing vendor relationships, driving cost efficiencies, and implementing procurement best practices within a fast-paced private equity environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, commercially minded, and comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and portfolio companies. Key Responsibilities Procurement & Sourcing Support sourcing initiatives across indirect spend categories such as IT, professional services, marketing, facilities, and travel Conduct supplier research, RFx processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ), and competitive benchmarking Assist in negotiating contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements Vendor Management Maintain and manage supplier relationships to ensure performance, compliance, and value delivery Track vendor performance metrics and support quarterly business reviews Identify opportunities for vendor consolidation and cost savings Spend Analysis & Reporting Analyze spend data to identify trends, savings opportunities, and risk areas Prepare regular procurement reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders Support budgeting and forecasting processes related to indirect spend Process Improvement Help develop and implement procurement policies, controls, and best practices across the firm and portfolio companies Drive adoption of procurement tools and systems Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with internal teams (Finance, Legal, IT, Operations) to align procurement strategies with business needs Act as a liaison between vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and improve service delivery Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management (experience with indirect spend preferred) Experience in financial services Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and quantitative skills Excellent negotiation and communication abilities Proficiency in Excel and procurement/ERP systems (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, NetSuite) Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Application Notice: Qualified candidates will be contacted within 2 business days of application.
