Product Manager, Legal Intelligence Platform Hybrid | New York, NY About the Client Our client is a growth-stage legal technology company building software, data products, and research tools that help law firms prepare stronger cases and make more informed strategic decisions. The company sits at the intersection of legal services, applied AI, litigation data, expert research, and workflow software, serving attorneys and litigation teams across a range of practice areas. The business has developed a differentiated intelligence platform that brings together hard-to-access legal, professional, and public data into searchable, actionable profiles. The product helps legal teams evaluate individuals involved in litigation, identify credibility issues, uncover risk signals, and stay informed as new information becomes available. About the Role Our client is seeking a Product Manager to take ownership of a key AI-driven legal intelligence product line and lead its roadmap for continued growth. This person will be responsible for understanding the needs of attorneys, litigation support teams, internal research teams, sales, customer success, data operations, and engineering, then translating those needs into a clear product strategy. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of experience in technology or software product management and is comfortable owning a complex B2B product that combines workflow software, data aggregation, AI-powered insights, search, monitoring, and user-facing analytics. This is a hands-on product role for someone who can balance customer discovery, roadmap prioritization, go-to-market alignment, data quality, user experience, and measurable business outcomes. Responsibilities Own the product roadmap for a core legal intelligence and due diligence platform, including new feature development, enhancements, automation opportunities, and long-term product strategy. Partner with engineering, design, data science, research operations, legal subject-matter experts, sales, marketing, and customer success to define, prioritize, and ship high-impact product initiatives. Conduct customer discovery with attorneys, paralegals, litigation support teams, and internal users to understand workflows, pain points, buying drivers, and opportunities for product expansion. Translate complex legal research and investigative workflows into intuitive product experiences, including search, filtering, profile views, alerts, reporting, and analytics. Help evolve AI-enabled capabilities that collect, analyze, organize, and surface insights from legal, professional, and public data sources. Define product requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, success metrics, and launch plans for new features and platform improvements. Identify opportunities to improve speed, accuracy, coverage, transparency, and usability across research, monitoring, and intelligence workflows. Work closely with data and operations teams to improve the quality, structure, freshness, and reliability of the underlying data powering the product. Collaborate with go-to-market teams on positioning, packaging, customer education, sales enablement, and feedback loops from prospects and clients. Monitor competitive trends in legal technology, applied AI, litigation analytics, expert research, search products, and B2B SaaS. Use product analytics, customer feedback, revenue signals, and operational metrics to prioritize roadmap decisions and measure impact. Serve as the internal product champion for this platform, ensuring cross-functional alignment around customer value, product differentiation, and growth objectives. Requirements 5–10 years of product management experience in a technology, SaaS, software, data, AI, search, workflow, or B2B platform environment. Proven experience owning a product roadmap and shipping software products from discovery through launch and iteration. Strong ability to work with engineering, design, data, operations, and business stakeholders in a cross-functional environment. Experience with B2B SaaS, legal technology, research platforms, data products, compliance-oriented tools, workflow automation, or professional-services software is strongly preferred. Comfort working with products that rely on large volumes of structured and unstructured data. Familiarity with AI, machine learning, LLM-enabled workflows, search, summarization, monitoring, alerts, or document analysis is a plus.
