As a Senior Project Manager , you’ll take the lead on complex, high-impact projects that touch agencies across the state. In this role, you will guide enterprise-wide initiatives that directly support the efficiency and accuracy of Oregon’s HR and payroll operations. What You’ll Do: Lead large, complex Workday Oregon projects from strategy and planning through implementation Coordinate cross-agency project teams and collaborate with partners across the enterprise Manage scope, timelines, risks, issues, and project dependencies Ensure system solutions align with statewide policy, business requirements, and operational needs Drive adoption and successful change outcomes across agencies during system rollouts View the entire job description here. What We Are Looking For Minimum Qualifications: To qualify for this position, you must have: Seven years of professional level experience related to the class concept; OR Six years of professional level experience related to the class concept AND an Oregon Project Management Associate Certification; OR Four years of professional level experience related to the class concept AND a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a closely related field; OR Two years of professional level experience AND Project Management Professional Certification awarded by the Project Management Institute. Desired Attributes: We’re looking for someone who brings: Strong leadership and project management discipline. Experience managing complex, multi-agency projects with diverse partners and customers. Experience identifying, analyzing, mitigating, and managing risks. Knowledge of IT system implementations or large-scale business transformations. Excellent communication, partners engagement, and change management skills. Ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities.
