Job Description
Help Us Build Healthier Homes in Austin We're Enso, and we're betting that the future of residential construction is healthier, more durable, and built to last. We believe homes should support the wellbeing of the people living in them, and we're proving that's possible on every remodel and new build we take on. This isn't a marketing angle. We use non-toxic materials, mold-resistant assemblies, and building science most builders haven't caught up to yet. It's how we build. And it works. We need a Senior Project Manager who can take this from a vision to a repeatable operation. The Role You'll own the systems that move our projects from sold to complete - on time, on budget, and at the quality standard we've staked our name on. And you'll be the one who decides how we get faster, leaner, and better at what we do, without compromising on the materials and methods that make our work different. On the remodel side, you'll streamline how we deliver projects - sharpening estimating accuracy, tightening logistics, identifying where time and money leak, and building the systems that let us scale without losing quality. On the new build side, you'll help us prove a thesis: that healthy, high-performing homes can be built affordably. That includes alternative building practices like our hemp block work - a category we're actively shaping, not just adopting. You'll bring in top trade partners, train crews on materials and methods most builders don't know, and keep every project moving alongside our superintendents and design team. You'll report directly to our COO - he owns the tech and operations infrastructure, you own how we actually build. You're the strategic operator on the construction side. What You Bring 5+ years managing residential construction projects with full-cycle ownership of remodels or new builds (7+ years preferred) A strong existing network of trade partners and the respect to get their best work Track record of streamlining processes and reducing costs without cutting quality Experience training, mentoring, or developing other PMs, supers, or trade partners Direct experience with healthy or alternative building materials, OR a genuine drive to learn Comfort running multiple projects simultaneously without dropping balls A systems mind - you see process gaps and want to fix them Client-facing skills sharp enough to hold a high-end client's confidence through complexity Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a real advantage, but not required Willingness to learn and use AI tools What This Isn't This isn't a tech role. You don't need to be a software wizard - we have a strong COO who owns that side of the business. What we need from you is construction depth: the operational chops to make our projects run cleaner, the relationships to bring in the right people, and the curiosity to push our methods forward. This also isn't a desk-only role. You'll be in the field as much as the work demands, alongside our superintendents and in front of clients. But your primary job isn't running daily field operations - it's running the system that makes those operations work. Although, in the beginning you may be running field operations as we scale up and train our trade partners. What Makes This Different You'll have real ownership over how we build. Not approving someone else's playbook but helping to write it. Every system you create becomes part of how we scale. Every relationship you build, every method you refine, makes the next project better. We're not chasing volume for its own sake. We're proving that healthy homes can be delivered affordably, profitably, and at scale. Get that right, and we change a lot more than our company. Compensation & Growth We're building this role with a clear path forward. As we grow into more new construction and eventually boutique communities, your role grows with it - with a direct path to advancing into an Area Manager position. Base salary: $130k–$150k, depending on experience Healthcare: ICHRA allocation Time off: PTO Flexibility: The kind that comes with a small team that trusts each other The Reality We're a small team with serious ambitions, and there's no hiding on a team this size. Every person here carries real weight, and our current team is only A players. This role will ask a lot of you. Some weeks will be brutal. Multiple projects hitting critical phases at once, a trade partner falling through, a client decision that has to happen today. You'll have full autonomy and zero hand-holding -
