Contribute to sustainability, efficiency and EV transition outcomes for NSW Government. The role This is a hands‑on delivery role for an experienced project professional who wants to work at scale. As a Senior Project Officer, Fleet Mobility and Innovation, you will lead and coordinate whole‑of‑government initiatives that improve fleet utilisation, strengthen data‑driven decision‑making and enable more contemporary ways of working across NSW Government. Working closely with agencies and central partners, you will progress complex projects from concept through to implementation, delivering practical outcomes that support efficiency, sustainability and innovation. In this role, you will: Coordinate and manage the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of whole‑of‑government fleet and mobility projects. Develop and manage project plans, schedules and reporting to ensure delivery within agreed scope, timeframes and quality standards. Lead stakeholder engagement, consultation and governance activities to support adoption and successful implementation of initiatives. Enhance the use of technology, systems and data insights to support improved fleet and mobility outcomes. Monitor project risks, issues, benefits realisation and performance, providing clear advice and recommendations. Manage and support project team members, fostering collaboration and accountability. You bring: Demonstrated experience delivering programs or projects in government or large organisations, ideally in fleet, transport, mobility, infrastructure or asset‑intensive environments. Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills, with the ability to balance competing interests and priorities. Experience using data, insights or business intelligence to inform decision‑making and improve outcomes. Sound judgement and the ability to manage risks, issues and dependencies across multiple initiatives. A proactive, collaborative leadership style and a focus on delivery and continuous improvement . What is an essential requirement: Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in program/project management, policy, operations, commercial or related disciplines.
