FDRsafety is seeking a Senior Safety Leader to build, lead, and continuously evolve an enterprise-wide safety program across office, plant, and field operations. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for establishing safety governance, driving performance metrics, and embedding a culture of accountability and prevention across the organization. This individual will partner closely with Operations, HR, Legal, and Finance to align safety initiatives with business objectives while serving as a key advisor to executive leadership on risk, compliance, and safety performance. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Leadership Develop and execute a company-wide safety strategy across multiple operational environments Establish standardized policies, procedures, and governance frameworks Drive consistency, accountability, and continuous improvement across all locations Performance & Analytics Establish and monitor KPIs (TRIR, DART, EMR, near misses, severity rates) Deliver executive-level reporting on safety performance and trends Utilize data analytics to identify risks and prioritize mitigation efforts Risk Management & Compliance Identify high-risk activities and implement proactive safety strategies Ensure compliance with OSHA and all federal, state, and local regulations Lead internal audits, inspections, and regulatory readiness Incident Management Oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions Ensure timely closure of safety issues and continuous learning across teams Insurance & Cost of Risk Serve as primary liaison with insurance carriers, brokers, and underwriters Analyze loss trends and implement strategies to reduce total cost of risk Support policy renewals and risk transfer strategies Training & Culture Lead development and delivery of safety training and onboarding programs Drive engagement through behavioral-based safety and near-miss reporting Foster a proactive, ownership-driven safety culture across all levels Technology & Continuous Improvement Evaluate and implement safety systems, tools, and reporting platforms Benchmark performance against industry standards Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, reporting, and predictive risk management Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, Construction, or related field 10–15+ years of safety leadership experience (construction, manufacturing, or similar) Strong knowledge of OSHA and multi-state regulatory compliance Experience leading enterprise-level safety programs and risk management strategies Proven ability to analyze data, lead investigations, and influence leadership teams
