What the role is? You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with clinical researchers, scientists, policy teams and committees both internal and external, developing collaborative projects. You will require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at thesame time. The key roles include grant write-ups, preparing project protocols, monitoring project implementation, collating and analysing data, and manuscript preparation for submission to peer-reviewed journals. What will you be working on? 1) Design and implement epidemiological studies and research in healthcare associated outbreaks, nosocomial infection and MDROs (multi-drug resistant organisms). Develop research protocols and standard operating procedures. Implement sampling strategies and study recruitment. Coordinate with various skateholders for study execution. Manage large-scale epidemiological datasets. Perform disease surveillance data analysis and create predictive models for disease transmission. Work with the principal investigators to draft grants related to healthcare-associated outbreaks, nosocomial infections and MDROs. Prepare manuscripts and write scientific papers. Prepare technical reports and presentations. Develop policy briefs and recommendations. Maintain study groups, including managing communications and meetings. Engage multi-disciplinary stakeholders and community partners. What are we looking for? Job responsibilities Work strategically with clinicians, scientists, epidemiologists, statisticians, and other research fellows to formulate and answer important clinical and public health questions on the diagnosis, prognosis, management, and prevention of infectious diseases. Work closely with principal investigators, senior researchfellows, and researchassistant to execute new studies by planning, preparing study protocols, and implementing these studies efficiently. Prepare research grant applications, including performing necessary literature review, advising on study design, and coordinating inputsfrom research collaborators. Liaise with collaborators to bridge clinical and scientificinformation in order to integrate both into new and ongoing projects. Present study results at local and international scientificconferences. Assist with manuscript preparation for submission to peer-reviewed journals through literature review, preliminary data analysis, and drafting of manuscripts.
