Zen Strategics, a Titan Technologies company, is seeking a Senior Software Developer – Appian to support a high-visibility federal program at the Pentagon. This is a key personnel role supporting enterprise-level application development and modernization efforts within a complex, mission-driven environment. Job description: We are looking for a highly experienced Appian developer who can lead the design, development, and integration of scalable applications in a secure, enterprise environment. This role requires deep expertise in Appian, Agile development, and enterprise data systems. Duties and Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Appian-based applications and solutions Develop and integrate web APIs to support Appian platforms Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives Create, modify, and optimize relational database schemas and queries Ensure system performance, scalability, and security compliance Support DevOps, data integration, and platform operations within enterprise environments Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and government customers You MUST have: 5+ years of Appian development experience 5+ years of Agile software development experience Appian Senior Developer Certification 10+ years of overall software engineering / systems development experience Experience supporting large-scale, enterprise-level data environments (DevOps, analytics, governance, security) Strong experience with relational databases (schema design, query optimization) Must be U.S. citizen Public Trust or higher Security Clearance required Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field OR 15+ years of relevant experience
