Senior Software Engineer — AI Products About The Role Ship AI-powered product features end-to-end. You’ll integrate LLMs and ML services into user workflows, build evaluation and safety guardrails, and deliver reliable experiences at scale. Responsibilities Design backend services that orchestrate LLMs, retrieval (RAG), and structured business logic. Implement evaluation harnesses (offline and online) with quality, cost, and latency KPIs. Optimize prompts, fine-tuning/LoRA, distillation, and caching for performance and cost. Instrument features for A/B testing, success metrics, and continuous improvement loops. Collaborate with research and data teams on datasets, labeling, and feedback pipelines. Requirements 5+ years in backend/software engineering; 2+ years applied ML/LLMs preferred. Proficiency in Python plus one of Go/Node/Java; comfort with vector DBs and embeddings. Production experience with cloud ML, observability, and incident response. Bonus Safety/guardrail frameworks, PII redaction, policy enforcement.
