Established by physicians in 2020, the company connects clinical context with revenue intelligence to help health systems recover missed revenue, improve quality scores, and manage claim denials. Their platform addresses challenges in healthcare billing and revenue cycle management, impacting multiple health systems. About the Opportunity: The Senior Software Engineer, Backend will focus on advancing clinical AI systems by designing and building backend infrastructure that handles and analyzes clinical data at scale. This role is essential for developing core backend services and enhancing application quality, contributing directly to the effectiveness and scalability of the organization''s healthcare solutions. Responsibilities: • Design, build, and launch new backend services and capabilities Improve the overall quality of the organization’s applications Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to understand users and iterate on solutions Ensure patient privacy and security through secure coding practices Advocate for improved techniques, processes, and designs within the team Support applications in production environments Requirements: • Minimum 5 years of development experience focusing on backend and cloud-based solutions Expertise in Python Experience with Postgres or similar relational databases Experience building cloud-native distributed systems and event-driven architectures Ability to work with data scientists to plan, build, and iterate deliverables Experience in security-conscious environments Strong communication and team collaboration skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience Pay Range and Compensation Package: • $190K to $230K base salary Benefits & Perks: • Medical, Dental & Vision insurance covering 75% of premiums, depending on plan Paid parental leave up to 12 weeks for birth or adoption Remote-first work environment within the U.S. Unlimited paid time off and 10 holidays 401(k) with Traditional and Roth options and 4% match Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
