About the Opportunity The Senior Software Engineer, Financial Platform will contribute to building and enhancing the financial systems that support existing business lines and enable new revenue streams across multiple platforms including Android, iOS, and Web. This role is essential in advancing the organization’s paid product offerings, supporting the continued free access to core functionality without compromising user data privacy. The position involves partnering closely with finance, business development, customer experience, data science, and product teams to improve payments, payouts, and billing systems, ensuring reliability and stability. Responsibilities Build financial systems and integrations supporting current and new revenue streams. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams on revenue operations. Partner with business development to establish strategic partnerships. Work with CX, Data Science, and feature teams to evolve payments and payout platforms. Enhance the reliability, observability, and stability of the billing system. Requirements 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong backend skills in Python. Working knowledge of frontend technologies such as React and TypeScript. Growth mindset with a focus on continuous learning and improvement. Strong impact orientation with ability to collaborate across product, design, analysis, and engineering. High sense of ownership, autonomy, and commitment to fully solving problems. Bonus Points Experience in revenue or monetization teams. Knowledge of accounting, revenue operations, or payments. Analytical mindset and love for problem-solving using data. Location Requirements Candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area. Relocation assistance may be available. Remote work is permitted without a formal office requirement. Compensation & Benefits Compensation Base Salary Range: $196,000 - $220,000 USD per year.
