Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.4B+ from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes. We prioritize candidate safety. Please be aware that all official communication will only be sent from @Rippling.com addresses. About The Spend Product Team We build the system that gives companies real time visibility and control over every dollar they spend. Rippling Spend unifies corporate cards, reimbursements, procurement, bill pay, and travel into a single workflow that connects directly to accounting and payroll. Unlike point solutions that reconcile after the fact, we enforce policy, approvals, and accounting in real time. That lets finance teams operate proactively, and it creates a hard systems problem across payments, data consistency, permissions, and scale. If you like building deeply integrated platforms that replace fragmented tooling, this is the work What We Build We build the products that help companies control, automate, and gain real-time visibility into every way money moves through the business, from cards and expenses to bill pay and travel. Corporate Cards: Rippling Corporate Cards powers company spending through physical and virtual cards with built-in controls, configurable limits, and policy enforcement. For engineering candidates, it’s a chance to work on payments infrastructure, risk systems, authorization flows, and high-trust financial user experiences. Expense Management: Rippling Expense Management helps employees submit expenses and helps finance teams review, approve, and reimburse them in a streamlined workflow. From an engineering standpoint, it brings together policy engines, approvals, mobile and web experiences, and deep integrations with payroll and accounting systems. Bill Pay: Rippling Bill Pay gives companies a unified way to manage vendor invoices, approval chains, and outgoing payments. It’s a product area that combines document ingestion, workflow automation, financial operations, and money movement in a single system. Travel: Rippling Travel connects booking workflows with the rest of the spend stack so travel activity, approvals, and downstream reconciliation all live in one ecosystem. For engineers, it’s an opportunity to build across booking experiences, policy enforcement, compliance, and post-purchase spend workflows. Procurement: Rippling Procurement provides a centralized way for employees to request, approve, and manage purchases before money is spent. It brings together intake workflows, approval chains, vendor coordination, and purchase tracking into a single system. From an engineering perspective, it involves building flexible workflow engines, dynamic forms, vendor management systems, and deep integrations with bill pay, accounting, and policy enforcement to ensure spend is controlled from the very first request. Banking: Rippling Banking enables companies to store, move, and manage their money with built-in controls and real-time visibility. It brings together accounts, transfers, cash management, and reconciliation into a single system tightly integrated with the broader spend stack. From an engineering perspective, it spans ledgering systems, money movement rails, compliance and risk controls, and high-reliability infrastructure to ensure accuracy, security, and trust at scale.
