About the Opportunity: The Senior Software Engineer, ML Training Platform will lead the development and maintenance of feature stores used for online inference and model training. This role focuses on creating infrastructure that supports machine learning engineers and data scientists in improving the ML feature software lifecycle. The position involves collaboration with engineers across the ML Platform and infrastructure teams to enhance platform capabilities and requires mentoring team members in DevOps practices to ensure service health and quality. Telecommuting is available for this full-time role. Responsibilities: • Build feature stores for online inference and model training Lead development, testing, and maintenance of ML Feature Store and Feature Engineering infrastructure serving over 100 million users Collaborate with engineers across ML Platform and infrastructure teams to advance platform capabilities Work with management on goal setting, planning, and risk mitigation Mentor team members to adopt rigorous DevOps practices for ML infrastructure components and services Support telecommuting and remote work as needed Requirements • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related quantitative discipline Minimum two years of experience in the offered role or related field Experience designing and building machine learning model serving infrastructure Experience deploying models for production serving Skills in enhancing ML observability, including feature drift detection and model performance monitoring Proficiency in Python, Git, and SQL or MySQL Ability to design technology stacks Experience debugging and monitoring production services Any suitable combination of education, training, and experience is acceptable Full-time telecommuting option Pay Range and Compensation Package: • The base pay range for this position is $216,700.00 to $303,400.00 USD Eligibility for equity in the form of restricted stock units Potential eligibility for commission depending on the position offered Compensation package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, vacation, and parental leave Benefits & Perks: • Comprehensive healthcare benefits and income replacement programs 401(k) plan with employer match Supportive global benefit programs including workspace, professional development, and caregiving support Family planning support Gender-affirming care Mental health and coaching benefits Flexible vacation and paid volunteer time off Generous paid parental leave Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
