Role: Senior/Staff Software Engineer Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Remote (North America - ET to PT time zones) Compensation: $180,000-$230,000 + Competitive Equity About Us We're an early-stage startup reimagining enterprise identity solutions from the ground up. Our founding team includes experienced builders who previously scaled and exited a successful security-focused startup. You'll join a small, high-impact team where craftsmanship and quality matter. What You'll Do Build scalable, secure backend services capable of handling enterprise workloads Design and develop distributed, high-availability systems Uphold and advance security best practices across the stack (web, backend, infrastructure) Design APIs (web and service-to-service), model database schemas, and create robust integration patterns Collaborate across product, design, and engineering throughout the development lifecycle Who You Are 5+ years of professional software engineering experience , ideally with backend focus Deep experience with Go or Java Passionate about building high-quality, secure systems Comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving, early-stage environment Tech Stack Go (primary backend language) Work Environment Fully remote within U.S./Canadian time zones (ET ↔ PT) Flexible work arrangements with strong team alignment Equity & Benefits Competitive equity package to reflect your impact and early-stage contribution
