Role Overview The Senior Specialist, Go-to-Market, Retail & Ecommerce, Label Printers & Scanners supports the planning and execution of go-to-market strategies across assigned product categories to ensure alignment between business objectives and market performance. Working under the direction of senior leadership and category managers, this role contributes to category and channel initiatives that drive profitability and growth through data-driven insights, customer understanding, and effective cross-functional collaboration. The Senior Specialist assists in managing the product lifecycle—from development through end of life—while supporting the creation and execution of promotional plans and marketing strategies that deliver both short-term results and long-term brand success. Leveraging market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis, this position helps maintain consistent category positioning, supports effective go-to-market execution, and contributes to achieving financial and operational goals. Duties & Responsibilities Category Planning Support Provide support on multiple product categories for pre-/post sales and marketing support for Retail & Ecommerce B2C Sales groups Assists with the full lifecycle of product - development, maintaining performance, and end of life Support leadership to ensure category profitability in short and long-term using a larger set of KPIs Accountable to category/product positioning being consistent with strategy and collaborates frequently with marketing communications teams Category & Channel Support Research target vertical markets to understand user applications, uncover customer needs and pain points, and help design compelling value propositions. Support the development and execution of channel-specific strategies in partnership with the sales team Accountable to sales targets, month end results, and expense management execution with supporting groups Assists in developing account-level product and strategy presentations as needed / required Provides recommendations for go-to-market strategy and assists with marketing execution Collaborates and coordinates key market research projects to improve customer insight usage and execution Maintains competitor files to monitor activity, opportunities, and new products; share with relevant teams and Japan Headquarters (BIL) Category Analytics and Reporting Coordinates budget activities to ensure promotional expense budget and execution, consistent with category and divisional objectives Assists with monitoring competitive environment, volumes, and market trends to use in decision making Runs daily, weekly, monthly analytics / reports to ensure business remains on track through cross-functional partnership. Work with senior leadership to course correct, as necessary, and make recommendations on how to move forward Marketing Mix Execution Review channel margin guidelines and ensure consistent pricing for assigned categories / segments Gather data and support the development of a successful retail / ecommerce channel lineup strategy and partners with sales on training, execution/results, while monitoring progress Accountable to divisional forecasts and ensures proper m
