Staff Accountant Arizona Roofers | Arizona | $60,000 – $85,000 About Arizona Roofers Arizona Roofers is a founder-led Arizona roofing company serving residential and commercial clients across Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff, and surrounding communities. We install tile, shingle, metal, foam, modified bitumen, and coating systems built for Arizona’s climate. About the Role We’re hiring a Staff Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of a rapidly growing business. This role works closely with the CFO and Accounting Manager across payroll, job costing, commissions, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting. This is a hands-on role with strong growth potential for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and eager to build a career in accounting and finance. Responsibilities Process and reconcile payroll, benefits, and payroll liabilities Perform job costing and track project profitability Calculate and reconcile sales commissions Assist with revenue recognition and COGS tracking Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations Support month-end close and financial reporting Maintain accurate records and improve accounting processes Work cross-functionally with operations and leadership teams Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (not required) 1–4 years of accounting experience Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Preferred Construction or job-cost accounting experience Experience with WIP accounting, overbilling, and underbilling schedules Experience with QuickBooks Online, Gusto, or Bill.com Compensation & Benefits $60,000 – $85,000 salary depending on experience and skillset Discretionary bonuses Paid time off Career growth opportunities Direct exposure to leadership and operations Why Join Us?
