The role We currently have fantastic opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer – Ports & Maritime to work as part of a cohesive Perth based team to successfully deliver various coastal and maritime engineering services to a wide range of clients, including government, Port authorities and private sectors. As an Senior Engineer you will provide high quality design and engineering knowledge and effective project management skills to support the ongoing activities of a leading multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy and to provide the complete analysis and design tasks as assigned by Managers or Project Managers whilst proactively collaborating with appropriate team members, contributors and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness and co-ordination of project deliverables to meet client requirements and actively contribute to the commercial success of the team. Suitable applicants will demonstrate: A min of 7+ years’ commercial experience in a similar role involving the design of marine structures Degree qualified in Civil, Structural or Maritime Engineering (or Similar) Established knowledge and experience in asset management, maritime structures and port engineering Competent in structural design software such as Space GASS, STAAD, STRAND. Competent in mooring analysis design software, preferably Optimoor.
